DREAM Act

The DREAM Act, or H.R. 1842, was first introduced to the Senate in 2001. Recently in May of this year, the Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, reintroduced the bill to the Senate. This Bill is intended to provide relief and education for any illegal immigrant minor in the United States. The Joint Committee on Taxation, in 2010, said that the bill can possibly decrease deficit by about 1.4 billion dollars and increase governmental revenue by 2.3 billion. The Bill is still in the process to see whether or not it shall become a law.
