According to a recent New York times poll, last month Congress's approval rating was the lowest it has been in a while. The astonishing 9% approval rating may not mean much to the people who don't really know, but when compared to other things that Americans find more morally acceptable is truly surprising. More Americans, 11% approval rating, think that polygamy is more acceptable than how Congress is running now. Pornography has a much higher approval rating than Congress, it has a 30% rating. These are just two examples that have higher acceptance ratings, even notions like "America going Communist" have Congress beat. Congress is really unpopular to the people of this nation, and obviously what they are doing is not sitting well with Americans.
